My Manifesto

“I believe words are the single most powerful force on earth. They can inspire, motivate and impact an individual forever. When crafted right, these same words can push a company's mission forward. Sometimes such impact can last for decades, sometimes for generations. Think Martin Luther King’s I Have a Dream speech. Think Steve Jobs’ Here’s To the Misfits brand manifesto. I believe fewer words create more memorable messages. Think “love.” Think “hate.” Think “joy.” Think “pain.” To be memorable, I believe words must be authentic and earthy, not fake and glossy. When fueled by the heart, words not only have the power to transform people and organizations. They also have the impact to change history.”

My Bio

I have a two-decade background as a content writer, copywriter and creative director. I’ve guided various projects for highly respected national and regional companies such as Providence Health Systems, 2-1-1info, Wallace Medical Concern, Oregon Health Authority and work with major healthcare organizations including Regence Blue Cross Blue Shield, Oregon’s Health Insurance CO-OP, The Corvallis Clinic, Broadway Medical Clinic as well as Good Samaritan Hospitals in Corvallis and Portland. Other client work includes ImpactNW, Loaves and Fishes, Project H.E.R. (Susan G. Komen grant) and Oregon Special Olympics. I’ve received Clios, Addys, Tellys and Rosies awards for my work. I’m a graduate of the University of Oregon’s School of Journalism.
